What is EcoBuzz?
EcoBuzz is an online resource dedicated to living green. The website contains resources for the eco-conscious including ways to green your health, tips for saving energy and money, green home and garden advice as well as the latest environmental news. EcoBuzz L.A. also publishes reviews and information about Los Angeles area farmers markets, eco-friendly establishments and fun things to do each week.
EcoBuzz’s mission is to connect, highlight and encourage local organizations, individuals and businesses toward a sustainable present and future. As a comprehensive online portal, EcoBuzz L.A. aims to showcase the total green community. I hope EcoBuzz Los Angeles will become your all-things-green guide to Los Angeles!
The Future of EcoBuzz
Here is a list of the features we are working on now:
- Map of Farmers Markets in the Los Angeles Area – We are working on an interactive map that will include information for all Los Angeles County Certified Farmers Markets.
- Farmers Market App – Stay tuned for a mobile app directory with data for the Los Angeles County Certified Farmers Markets. Search by day or area to find your local farmers market right from your mobile device.
- Green Calendar of Events – In addition to our weekly post highlighting upcoming eco-friendly things to do in Los Angeles, EcoBuzz publishes a comprehensive calendar of green activities.
- YouTube Channel – EcoBuzz is creating a set of videos to complement our farmers market reviews.
- Shopping – We are also working on a shopping resource to offer information and access to eco-friendly products that we personally recommend.
- Community – EcoBuzz hopes to evolve into a community of eco-inspired individuals who are looking for ways to live, work and play green in the greater Los Angeles area. Please leave a comment or send us an email with your ideas and suggestions!
