The Los Angeles/Santa Monica Mountain Chapter of the California Native Plant Society is a great resource for local native plant information.  There offer classes and volunteer opportunities in and around Los Angeles County where you can get hands on experience with local native plantings.

The Los Angeles/Santa Monica Mountain Chapter of the California Native Plant Society will hold their annual fall native plant sale ath the Sepulveda Garden Center in Encino on October 2nd and 3rd, 2010.

The South Coast Botanic Garden in Rolling Hills Estates will have a Fall Native Plant Sale on Saturday, October 2, 2010 from 9am – 4pm.  Click here for more information.
