Party for Pinnipeds – 20th Anniversary Fundraiser for the Marine Mammal Care Center

Celebrate the Marine Mammal Care Center’s 20th Anniversary at the Party for Pinnipeds on Sunday, October 14, 2012 from 7pm until 11pm at the Aquarium of the Pacific in Long Beach.  The Marine Mammal Care Center is a non-profit animal rehabilitation center located at Fort MacArthur in San Pedro, California.  They are the only hospital in Los Angeles County that cares for sick, injured and orphaned seals and sea lions.  To RSVP call 310-548-5677 or email  For more information visit

TreePeople Events

TreePeople offers a variety of volunteer opportunities including tree planting, tree care, mountain restoration, reforestation, park maintenance, seedling nursery, photography. Minors (accompanied by an adult) are welcome. Visit their calendar to select an activity and sign-up by pre-registering. Once you register, TreePeople will contact you with event details and directions.
