Get ready for Coastal Cleanup Day!! Hosts Micah Ohlman, Megan Henderson, Gayle Anderson, and Henry DiCarlo bring you a preview of Heal the Bay’s Coastal Cleanup Day and environmental concerns on KTLA from 8:00 pm – 9:00 pm on Saturday, September 8 2012 and 4:00 pm – 5:00 pm on Sunday, September 9, 2012.

This isn’t exactly an event but it’s a great deal! For $100 you can purchase a rain barrel from Sustainable Works in Santa Monica. They hold 55 gallons and contain a brass spigot for garden hose attachment. Note to Santa Monica residents: The barrels are FREE for Santa Monica residents after receiving a qualifying rebate.
